Good morning MDN,It's great to see your Camelia in bloom. This year mine was so gorgeous. There are years when the flowers are opening up half brown.Spring will arrive for you soon!!Have a wonderful dayRosehugs Marijke
Hello Marijke! Camellias are very sensitive to temperature changes and sudden heat or cold can spoil the buds, fortunately they are blooming nicely this year. Have a wonderful week!
A little grateful rain here tonite too.
Diana thanks for visiting, we are having too much rain lately... I want some dry weeks to work in my garden.
She looks as though she has a faint touch of pink in her petals. White camellias are my favorites, although my current garden has only pink-flowered varieties.
Hello Kris! Yes, all my "white" camellias have those pink touches and in two of them the flowers get light pink as they age.. I have never seen a pure white camellia here and I definitely want one!
She is such a beauty - so graceful! I'm realizing that white flowers are a special presence in the garden; I've never used enough of them. Hope your back is better soon!
Hello Amy! White flowers add much beauty and light to any garden, white Camellias are especially wonderful. My back is better but the rain is still falling...
