Flaming Peace/Kronenbourg

  1. That is a beautiful flower! Your plant looks very well grown for a humid area. I grew this rose for many years, but it did not like the dry heat here.

Here rose mosaic virus is usually transmitted from infected root stock to the scion. In areas with very cold winters, it may weaken the plant enough to make it vulnerable to bad storms so that it does not survive the winter.

In my area with mild weather it isn't so bad--just the patterning on the leaves.

    1. Just in case I planted this rosebush away from the others! But for now it looks as good (or as bad in summer) as the healthy roses. I don't want to throw it in the trash, not yet!

  5. It is gorgeous... and your photo is beautiful. - I don't usually manage to take good photos of (dark) red flowers, and it's a pity because they look so dramatic and interesting.
I hope it and your other plants will stay healthy!
    Hugs!

  6. It is a beautiful rose. Sadly some are more disease resistant than others.
Thank you for your visit and have a wonderful Weekend.
