Helene, thanks for visiting! Water lilies are loveliness itself I have 20 or so varieties and wish my pond were bigger to have more! Have a great weekend!
You've lots of floral color, MDN! Of course, I adore those water lilies but the rest are looking good to me too, despite your (yikes!) 100F heat. Are your Amaryllis growing in the ground, or in pots? I was able to naturalize them in my garden beds in my former garden but haven't been as lucky here this far - it may just be too dry.
Hello Kris! The amaryllis in these pictures are planted in the ground but I also keep them in pots, they grow easily from seed, I got lots of them that way. They grow well in the ground in areas where they receive morning sun and afternoom shade I think that's the key to grow them, too much sun damage them.
What all beautiful flowers and pictures. Absolutely loved them, especially the water lilies. Are they in your garden? You must be so lucky then to have those beauties :-).
KL, welcome and thanks for visiting! The water lilies in these pictures grow in my pond I have 20 or so varieties most of them are hardy lilies but there are also some tropical ones.
HB, water lilies are incomparable beauties the jewels of the pond, I have to repot them (20 of them) this summer but the pond is deep and the whole process is extremly exhausting and I have no one to help me with it.. I'll see what I can do!
What a pleasure to see your waterlilies and roses in bloom when the cold and snow outside here. Love your amaryllis, I often try to grow them but they get dry after blooming -( Have a nice week!
Lovely flowers, especially the water lilies - a real treat to see in the middle of our coldest part of the year. Thanks for letting me visit.

EliminarYour hydrangeas and hibiscus are stunning. Oh to be able to grow a Amaryllis in my garden!

Prunella, hydrangeas are gorgeous plants I wish I had more shady areas to have more of them!
EliminarThe water lilies are such a treat to see, they are so beautiful.
ResponderEliminar40 C is so hot, it makes photographing even beautiful flowers an unpleasant experience. Stay cool and hydrated in that heat.
