Thanks Marit, I'll post more pictures as the other camellias bloom, I plan to buy new camellias to replaces the ones I lost when my neighbour built a wall and had to transplant them, some didn't survive a transplant in midsummer, a real pity they were quite big.
I'm not in Sydney where Camellias grow beautifully, but nearly 300km west. It's quite hard to grow them where I am as they don't seem to like the conditions much. I might be able to grow one when I have more shade in my young garden.
Hello MDN,
ResponderEliminarVery beautiful! She is very pretty :)

EliminarDo you grow any Camellia sasanqua, MDN? Those always bloom earlier here than the Camellia japonicas.
ResponderEliminarKris, unfortunately I don't have any Camellia Sasanqua, nurseries here only sell the japonica varieties.
EliminarWhat a gorgeous colour!
ResponderEliminarThanks Jane, I love Camellias do you grown them in your garden? if they grow well here I guess they must do it too in Sydney.
